“I don’t know, I woke up like this” she replied fearfully.
“Really,” chortled Robert. It was almost certainly a lie. Probably one of Eric’s jokes. He would have to think of something clever to get him back for this.
“Listen sweetie, whatever your name is…”
“Allison, it’s me Allison!” Christ she was screaming again. Whatever the point of this joke was, Robert didn’t believe he should lose his hearing over it.
“I’m the girl who broke her leg at fourteen riding a horse. I’m the girl who cries during pretty women. I’m the girl who stole that stupid pink teddy bear from the funfair when the bottle wouldn’t fall down.” She was rambling, which was a bad enough sign when hot girls did it, but now all he had was a short ugly broad with mascara dripping down her face.
“Listen, I don’t want your life story, I just want you to go before my lady gets here. We have an important night planned if you get my drift.” Robert was now grabbing her, trying to rustle her out the flat before the real Allison arrived.
“You don’t believe me” the girl looked up hurt. As Robert pushed her towards the door she started to struggle. One minute Robert felt in control, the next he was tumbling over. Everything went black.
