Jeff was curious to try the Chronivac on himself but he wished he could see it on someone else first. So he sat there scrolling through options until the doorbell rang. Jeff forgot that he was expecting friends. He'd spent more than an hour browsing the Chronivac.
Justin was the first to arrive. "Hey, Jeff. How's it hanging?"
"Fine." Jeff said as he tried to close out of the Chronivac quickly.
Justin asked, "Hey, what's that? Chronivac."
Jeff said, "It's nothing."
Justin said, "Come on. You wouldn't be trying to hide it if it was nothing."
Jeff sighed, "Fine, the Chronivac is supposed to let me change my body." Jeff continued to explain all he knew.
Justin said, "But I see clothing options. Were you going to change yourself into clothes?"
Jeff said, "No."
Justin said, "I know when you're lying. You were thinking about becoming clothes."
"Well" Jeff said, "Alright I thought about it but I don't want to be the first one to try it."
Justin said, "Then try it on me."
"Really" Jeff asked, "You want to try being clothes?"
Justin said, "I'm willing to try it. Can you make it temporary just as a trial run?"
Jeff smiled, "I can certainly look at the options."
Some of the options were confusing but one marked WERE seemed to have duration limits. Jeff clicked on it and it asked "Until" and then listed options such as until taken off, until sunrise, until wet, and other options.
"So what do you want to be and for how long?"
Justin said, "How about shoes until you take me off. Then go outside for a quick job wearing me and take me off and I'll tell you what it feels like. Hurry before the others arrive."
Jeff did so and watched as Justin transformed into a pair of tennis shoes. It was weird running knowing that his shoes were his friend Justin.
