Katie could hardly wait to try out her powers now, even more so than ever before. She was filled with an almost childish energy, bubbling up and mixing with her curiosities. Now she was certain she wouldn't have to worry about losing herself or her powers, she could do ... well, almost anything!
"Mom's movie should just be getting out....I'll go see if I can catch her."
Sure enough, the Disney film had just ended and Judy and Kelly were walking out, giggling. Katie tapered into the crowd behind them and began to follow, listening.
"That was so fun and cool!" Katie was saying.
"Yes, so different from the disney movies that I saw as a little girl. This computer animation is pretty incredible." Judy said.
"Yeah, the world's changed so much. Seems only a day or two ago that Katie was seven, asking me for her ears to be pierced."
"They grow up so fast." Judy pointed out. "Can you believe she's in college now."
"No I cant," Kelly admitted. "But she's such a responsible young woman. Im glad that this change, however it happened, made her see me as a little sister. Its kind of fun that way."
"Are you ready to change back?" Judy asked.
Kelly frowned, "Actually not really. I kind of wish I was really a kid. Grow up and have fun. No more responsibilities. It might be fun to even be the daughter, you know?"
Judy nodded. "I know what you mean."
Katie felt the ring warm against her finger, sensing her own thoughts on the manner.
