"Welcome to my shop girls, I expected there to be more of you."
"The rest weren't interested. I brought my friends. You never technically said 'all of them' when I made my promise."
The wizard nodded. "You noticed. You are a very smart girl. You and that ring belong together."
Judy and Kelly, two excited little girls, split up and went down the seemingly infinite number of ales and shelfs (it wasn't really infinite, but very very VERY large). As Katie talked with the wizard, Tricia herself wandered off to look at items.
Mirlin smirked to himself. He had indeed said he'd give Katie's friends a discount and he meant it. Magic items tended to call out to the inner desires of the customers. And since he had promised a discounted, if the girls picked up the items and truly wanted it, it would activate likely on its own. He knew that many people wouldn't approve of what other people wanted deep, very likely, the person themselves didn't realize what they wanted. Other times it just came down to just plain blind luck, but that part of the fun and games as well. He couldn't wait to see what items Katie's three friends ended up picking.
