As Katie and Josh snuggled on the bench, Katie couldn't help but blush. This was the closest she'd ever been to a boy of any kind. The seven year old she'd been would have wrinkled her nose at such a thing, but now that she was college aged it seemed perfectly natural, even welcome.
"Gosh, I really have changed." she thought to herself. "From worrying about cooties, to not caring if I catch them."
She felt Josh's arm around her shoulder, pulling her in close. "Katie?" He asked gently. "Could I uhm....kiss you again, like last night? I know its a little forwards..."
Katie interrupted him. "Sure!" She said, a little over-exuberantly.

She closed her eyes and allowed to enjoy it.Then she felt something probing, shifting into her mouth like an invading worm. She opened her eyes and realized Josh was trying to push his tongue into her mouth. Katie shifted back abruptly, the child part of her mind reacting.
"Ew! Gross!" she gasped.
Josh looked horrified, staring at her. "I ... Im sorry! I just!"
"What were you doing?" She asked, staring at him in shock.
"Its a kiss, you know? Haven't you ever had a -real- kiss before?" Josh asked.
Katie blinked and blushed. She really hadn't. Was this a real kiss? This wasn't like any she'd seen in movies or anything. "O...of course I have." She stammered.
Josh began to look at her incredulously. "Katie... are you really in college?"
She stared at him, and shivered, feeling his eyes upon her. She wanted so desperately to be accepted here. "Yes of course."
He shook his head and started to stand, "I dunno. I don't think this was a good idea..."
Katie's heart jumped in her throat. She gulped and her fingers found the ring....
