"My sister sent me a message she wants us to meet up with her at the mall," she answered. "You want to come along with me?"
"Sure," Josh said with a smile. As the two college coeds Katie thought about Mary's message. She was a little concerned that Mary warned her not to use the ring. Hopefully nothing was wrong with anyone but she was confident that no matter the problem she could fix it.
As Katie and Josh entered the bar they saw her friends sitting at a table laughing and talking, Mary noticed the two walk in hand in hand and quickly approached the two. "Hi guys,"she said cheerfully. "We've already ordered some food and drinks. Josh why don't you have a seat Josh I need to talk with Katie real quick."
As Josh sat at the table with the others Mary turned to Katie with a look of concern. "Where have you been?" she said. Katie gave Mary an incredulous look. "I met up with Josh," she said angrily. "We ended up going out for a bit. I was going to text you but you beat me to it and besides since when do I need to tell you everything I'm doing."

Mary explained what Merlin had told them about the ring. How those that were affected by the ring wanted to become younger. That Katie using the ring made all of her friends want to be children again and that soon Karen, Tricia, and Claudia would be little girls again.
Katie took in Mary's story in stunned silence as she looked at the group happily sitting at the table. "So everyone's going to become a kid again," she said. "I'm sorry I didn't know. How is.....how is everyone handling it so far?"
"Tricia and Karen seem to be doing okay," Mary said. "Claudia is still coming to terms with it but I think she'll be okay."
"What about Kellie and Judy are they going to affected by the ring too?" Katie asked.
"I'm not sure," Mary said. "Merlin is supposed to meet with us tomorrow and turn us into kids. When he does he's going to give us guardians to watch over us."
"So what does that mean," Katie asked. "Am I going to become a child for good? Are we going to forget being grow ups, will we go back to being ten or is Merlin going to make us even younger?"
Mary shook her head sadly. "I don't know Katie maybe you should ask him he's in a shop I'll take you."
Katie looked back towards the others. She wanted more time with Josh and her friends but also wanted to meet Merlin. Turning towards Mary she made her decision.
