There were now 531 Synthetics in the world.
In a way it felt like one of those 'click' games. The larger the numbers got, the less meaningful the tiny additions were. Casper hoped it wasn't like an drug addiction where each hit had diminishing returns.
Tommy and Lana shared another hug and kiss and broken, Tommy to his teammates and Lana to her Squadmates. Both groups in various states of undress of their uniforms: clearly not caring if they had them on or not now that the game was over and scoring a win!
Seeing the ring on Becky and her other half, made Casper think of the honorable way to be with Ashley. He didn't exactly have a ring on him besides his magic ring, and while he could take it off, and while he DID TRULY trust Ashley with everything, it would feel now like giving his right arm. Besides, he'd want it to be a ring he got FOR HER.
Given how late the after party likely to go, he just needed to wait long enough, true, there'd be pain to pay tomorrow of he didn't get enough sleep, but it was an honorable way to delay things until he was prepared.
Casper checked out the second and third stringers. He thought about how Synthetics growing population was going to do havoc to the poor fashion industry, but at least the gods weren't coming down to crush him for that. But since Synthetics didn't seem to suffer horrible injuries like brain damage and broken bones, (lacking a brain in the traditional sense, and bones) this meant second stringers who were on the team in case of injury wouldn't be getting their chance to shine like if Casper HADN'T changed those players. He couldn't say he wasn't altering the future with these changes, but, didn't EVERY decision ANYONE make alter the future?
He remembered how small poxes for thousands of years, across every inch of humanity, had shaped the course of the human race simply by kings being no more immune than the commoners, and dying off, and others coming into power because of their deaths. If someone went back in time and eliminated small pox from history, the political landscape and boarders of the planet would be completely different!
It was another reminder to Casper how frightening changing any aspect of reality was, everything was connected.
He used the ring on the stringers.
He didn't know if they all had bulls as their favorite animal, or if they all just envied or looked up to their teammates, or if the ring was using his behavior and intentions before as a precedent.
Whatever the reason, the herd GREW.
The stringers' jerseys and uniforms for most either vanished completely or were worn only in part, not that there was anything to see, their rear ends as devoid of a divide as a Ken doll, and their front with a shapeless bulge that was there for appearances rather than any purpose. Nipples were long go, and belly buttons were just air nozzles. Molding lines formed on them like an aura or the outline of a cartoon character.
Their muscles, size, shape, and form became like those of Tommy and his teammates, growing larger, as their feet became hooves, and their hands like three thick digits. The living room quickly filling with long horns. Long tails waved in the way, on occasion swatting each other for fun. Their barcodes plain to see on each and every one of their rears.

Their faces pushed into muzzles, and their bellows and squeaking echoed at he party.
Their colors raged from typical to weird. One had a body pattern of black with white bones, his brother had those with the colors inverted.
Some were simple shades of brown. Some had crystalline colors of ruby, sapphire, ad emerald. One was simply big and blue.
Tommy and Lana didn't notice a thing. Casper wondered if they still remember him telling them 530, or now remembered him telling them 545.
Tommy's parents were here, talking with one of the college's teachers, the one transformed into a red shire with ivory hooves and orange mane. (No, he did not speak with a southern accent.). Casper used the ring.
Tommy's father became a camouflage pattern brown bull, his mother became a pink swan. Never once breaking their chat even as they became naked rubber animal people.
Janet was with War and Peace, along with a small group of mousy girls, who were there apparently not entirely there of their own design. Janet was opposite of Casey.
Casper used the ring. One girl became a milk white in front and pearl pink in back humanoid dragon.
The one next to her became a golden sphinx with silver hieroglyphs on her back, and gaining a stunning anime girl large chest.
The last girl became a green and black kitsune with nine tails with brown eyes. Black or green eye marks were on the end of her tails and back, Casper saw they were just markings, like birthmarks. Casper saw she was still female, but her chest became nearly flat as a board and she hadn't youthened in the least.
The girls continued to positively talk about the book series about teenagers falling in love with vampires. Tastes will be tastes.
All were now as naked as Casey and Janet, their nipples and womanhood gone so it didn't mater much.
Casper could appreciate the irony of the group of naked inflated rubber girls on a collage party's couch.
There was a knock on the front and back doors at once… it seemed the Wild Cats and teir bunny girl (figure of speech) cheer squad had decided to pay the victors a visit. Well, wit the example Casper had given the ring regarding sport teams and cheerleader squads, they'd be real rubbery wild cats of one species, and a squad of real rubber bonnie girls soon enough.
