Stephanie knocked on Mary's door. "Just a minute!" Mary sang from a nearby room.
She opened the door and gasped. "Mary! What's happened to you?"
"Only the greatest thing EVER!" Stephanie's friend had grown two big cat ears, accompanied by a long, furry tail. "I'm turning into a cat! Cool, huh?"
Stephanie adjusted her glasses. "H... How is this possible?" Mary brought her over to the vials. "I found these on my doorstep this morning, and I drank a little bit of the cat one! At first I thought it was a joke..."
Having gotten over the shock, Stephanie began to smile. "That... is awesome!" Mary grinned. "I know right?"
Then, Stephanie thought of something. "Are you becoming a full cat, or a cat person?."
Mary pondered the question. "I don't kno... Oooogh..." She gripped her stomach. "I guess we're about to see, huh?"
Fur began sprouting all over Mary. It was the same rusty color as her ears and tail, but it was coming in white around her chest, hands, and mouth. Mary felt long whiskers growing out of her cheeks. Soon, the fur had covered her completely.
"Is it over?" Stephanie asked. Still gripping her stomach, Mary replied "I don't think so..."
