Once the New Perth’s had arrived at where they were going for their Dinner the Sun had just gone down and the streetlights were lighting the paths. A short walk later and they were at the restaurant, one that was designed for the more affluent customers. Getting a table was easy enough, owing to the reservation having been made by their former master and now them having taken over their lives. Seated by a secluded table that let them look over the room without anyone else really being able to see them, and taking a look at the menu to decide on what to eat.
“Look at this.” He said with disgust in his voice. “All these meats.”
“I have to agree. Hardly any good choices here.” She stated as she looked to find something that wouldn’t make her retch. “Barely a handful of non-meat foods.” If there was one thing they could be in total agreement on, it was their disdain for meat, having been natural herbivores until barely more than an hour back.
“Seriously, they’re going to have to learn.” He grumbled almost under his breath.
“Perhaps, but let’s at least eat first.” She made an attempt to stay his hand, if only for a short time. “I think I found something.” She pointed to one of the options marked ‘vegetarian’.
“Good idea, think I’ll have the same.” He agreed as he called a waiter over to make their order.
As they began to eat, he finally noticed that sometimes, she was rubbing herself slightly, running a hand over her limbs and face.
“Is, there something the matter?” He finally asked quietly.
“Perhaps. It’s that…well…it is a little embarrassing.” She stuttered a little before resolving to continue. “When we passed her, I found myself…missing…my old body…the fur, the tail, flowing mane, and the proper rear.”
“Don’t tell me you want to be a horse again?” He whispered, the background chatter the biggest reason they were not overheard.
“Well,” She struggled to find the right words. “It’s not easy, it feels like there is…something…missing. But I suppose all I really want is some of what I had before. So I have something to remind me of where I started. Have you been feeling it too?”
The question really hit him, the truth being that he too, missed a few things about his old equine body, not least the large cock and balls he once sported, the ones he had running down the right leg currently feeling very, inadequate to the task.
“You have, haven’t you?” She asked when he failed to answer.
“A little, yes.” He finally admitted. “Tell you what, let’s get through this dinner. Then, either during the movie or when we head back home, we’ll talk about it some more then, decide what to do, how much you and I want back, if at all, and then do it.” He offered her, something in him telling him he didn’t want to upset her, especially without good enough reason.
Having finished their starter, and now on their main course (another vegetarian option), another matter came up that she felt she needed to discuss with him.
“So about our “daughter”, and her friends.” She spoke up.
“Yes? What about them?”
“I was just wondering, how many of them will end up full-horses, and how many just half-horses?”
“Hard to say, but what we see when we get back…I think will make a way of getting an insight into what humans are like.” He ceded an earlier point to her.
“So if a lot of them are like Kelly?”
“Then the old plan is in effect, otherwise I’ll alter it to fit.”
“That, I think, I can go along with.” She decided, that being something she could support, at least for the time being.
The meals eaten and now paid for (him having remembered to bring the wallet for that purpose), they left to head to the movie theatre, but not before the New Mr Perth had a parting “gift” for everyone inside.
“I wish that everyone inside the restaurant we were just in who has eaten or is eating one of the meals that contained meat, will become horses in the next ten minutes.” He said in a near-silent whisper.
“So who was it this time?” She asked as they got into the car.
“Just the ones who deserved it.” He replied as he drove them to the theatre. “And I think that party Kelly’s having should have started by now.” He added to shift the subject.
“So will something else.” She noted.
