Dan Webster was in the showers at his dorm when he first noticed the bumps between his thighs. A long strand of silk thread came away with his hand as he jacked off in the shower. He didn't know what to think.
The day before he'd been in Professor Tanner's arachid research lab, and had gotten bitten by one of the genetically enhanced spiders. Doc Tanner was trying to produce quality spiderweb silk that would compete with silkworm production. The experiment was going well, and funding had been cut. So he'd hired Dan and a couple other students to clear out the lab to put stuff into storage he'd freeze the spiders until he needed them again. Dan didn't let on that he'd spilled a cage of spiders, since he'd been able to catch them all, though at the cost of a bite on his hand.
That night, he had the dorm room to himself. His roommate had gone home for the weekend. He had a vivid wet dream, but when he woke instead of the usual sticky mess, he discovered a much bigger sticky mess. The spinnerettes in his crotch had been busy last night, and the entire room was covered in a shroud of silky webbing. He cleaned up the mess, and then decided to see if he had any other spider powers. No added strength, no ability to stick to walls. Though he seemed immune to the sticky coating on the webbing he produced. He didn't know what to do.
The next 2 nights nothing happened.
His room mate retuned on Monday, and that night Danny had another wet "webbed" dream. This time when he woke, Dan was looking up at a human cocoon suspended from the ceiling. He cleared away the webbing, and lowered his room mate from the ceiling.
Mitch was groggy from Dan's venom, and was easily removed from his "silk pajamas". Dan noticed he was feeling pretty full and that his room mate a welt on his side about the size of Dan's mouth. He made sure all the evidence was gone, and slipped out of the room while Mitch was still snoring.
The cocoon and bite had had a profound effect on Mitch's genetic makeup. The night before Dan had consumed three hamburgers, and the bovine DNA had linked to his venom and was currently rewriting Mitch's genome. His snoring resembled a cow lowing. He rolled on his side as a tail began to grow from the base of his spine.
Mitch didn't have classes until afternoon, so Dan wasn't surprised he was still in bed at 11 when he returned from his morning classes. He did notice that Mitch was snoring loudly, and the room smelled like a barn. Boy that guy's sweat sure stank.
He finally went over to wake Mitch when it was noon, and was shocked to see two horns growing out of Mitch's head.
