Katie had to think fast. She suddenly realized that she'd actually wished for this without realizing it. The ring it had read her thoughts, no sooner had she even considered a wish that could change the two, so it happened. Now mom was aware of all the changes to them both, even if she didn't know the cause. Some part of her kind of thought this was fun, after all, her Mom had enjoyed being younger before she was aware, maybe she would be once she got used to it. Katie decided to play dumb.
"No I'm not mom! I'm ten," She insisted. "And your 25, what's wrong with you?"

It was a typical six year old's bedroom, with kindergarten toys, a tiny bed and clothes that clearly no longer fit her. "Your room, Katie! Does this look like a room a ten year old would live in?"
Katie feigned ignorance and shook her head. "I dont know what your talking about mom." She took her by the hand and turned her around to the hall...as she did she made a wish. "Are you sure you're feeling ok?"
Kelly stood, bewildered, staring at her daughter. She didn't even notice the shift happening in the room behind her. "I...no, just loo-" she stopped as she turned around. Gone was the kindergarteners room. There were still soft pastelle colors, but all the ponies and little kid stuff were gone. Sports, specifically soccer, surfing and basketball were on the wall, with famous girl atheletes. The bed was larger, the toys typical ones a ten year old would have. Katie had a desk with a computer, and her wardrobe now had typical ten year olds fashion.
"No...what?!" Kelly stumbled in, looking around. "This wasn't like it was before! It changed!"
Katie had to admit... part of this was fun, but another part wondered if she wasn't being mean. She then decided..."
