"We went to a shop downtown... A weird costume one..." You explained. John nodded. "Show me, but first... Put some pants on..." Jack chuckled as you blushed red. "Okay." After putting on some pants, you and Jack sat in the back of the little car. "Why do you drive this thing around?" You asked. John sighed. "It's not my car. You remember Matthew right?" You nodded. "I borrowed this old thing from him. My car was in the shop so this is all I could get." Jack felt uncomfortable. "This thing is cramped." John got serious. "Okay, where was this store?" Jack poked his lupine head between the front seats. "It was on Ash, two blocks south of Winston." John nodded and turned the car. He pulled over where you directed him. All three of you got out of the car. John looked ahead. "Uh huh, there's nothing here." Jack looked ahead as well. "What the?! It was..." You then turned your head. Sure enough, there was only an empty lot sitting right in front of you. Nothing more or less. "But it was here! I swear!" Jack pleaded. John took a deep breath. "Given what Matthew's dragged me through, I believe it. This is stranger than the Ghost Bus of Highway 93." Your ears flattened and your tail went between your legs as you whimpered. Jack, who was just as uncomfortable noticed this and hugged you lightly as John lit a cigarette pondering his next move. What was going on?
