The first thing that Jenny saw when she first walked into her office was an envelope stapled to a flier. The flier was advertising an event known as: Animalia: The first annual international Animatrix serum convention. On the flier, set upon a rain forest background, was a list of things to expect at the convention, which was being held in Las Vegas during the second week of July.
Among the things advertised were:
New Products and Services for Animal People;
The Mr. and Ms. Animalia Bodybuilding Competitions;
The Circle of Life opening ceremony staring Leon Washburn as Mufaasa;
New Housing models for plus size animal people;
A martial arts competition with various martial artists who had become animal people;
Previews of new sports for animal people; a question-and-answer board for people who have questions about the serum or animal people in general;
A showing of the new Welcome to the Jungle show staring several Vegas showgirls who had become animal people;
Wild Styles: a fashion show for animal people by animal people; previews of new movies staring animal people;
and So you think you have talent?: A talent show where animal people show off their new talents, or old talents enhanced by their new animal abilities.
Interested, but not totally convinced, she turned to the envelope, and was immediately confused at the return address. It was clearly from Washington, D.C., but when she entered the address in Google Maps, the computer clearly said that no such address existed. Opening and emptying the envelope, two tickets to the convention as well as a formal letter of invitation. Reading it through, the signature at the bottom clearly showed that the person who sent it didn't want to reveal his name. Conflicted, she decided to ask Clemens about it before making the decision to go.
