It began when I made her clothes disappear

Allison Rhodes join the coven

added by Unnamed 8 years ago I TG

Allison was on the verge of crying. Seeing her like this was painful, she was the most friendly-like relation my sister had, and I remember her always being nice to me. One would think that Brie and Gina to be friends. But somehow, while they don't hate each others, they never could really relate to each others.

"I'm… I'm scared of this F.B.I. guy." Sobbed Allison. "H-he said… He s-said he wanted to p-prevent a great evil to bef-fall on the world b-but…" She marked a pause, trying to calm herself down a bit. "B-but he got that e-evil loo-look in his eyes, that… Th-that evil gri-grin on face and… and th-the very air around him feel l-like it's saturated of evilness." Tears were now freely flowing on Allison's face.

Every member of the coven looked at the others, a look of incredulity plastered on their face. (Including yours.) Allison unknowingly claimed she could sense this sinister F.B.I. goon's magical aura, something usually difficult even for someone who mastered magic.

You looked interrogatively at your sister who, upon seeing you do so, did the same to your mother, who then nodded her approval to you.

But this silence, while short, must still have been too long for poor Allison, because she spoke again before you could. "I may find you too harsh in how you… ‘deal’ with traitors, but… But if you often cross the path of this F.B.I. monster, it's understandable." Then, she breathed slowly to calm herself. After a minute of this, she looked you eyes in eyes, determined. "I want to protect the world from him, to ensure the ring will never be taken by the like of him! So, I would be honored to join your group." Then, she faltered. "But… But I fear him so much, I'm not sure I won't help him by accident, s-so… If… If you decide to change me into an inanimate object, I won't fight it. Just… Please, if you do, change me into something helpful to you, something you can use make the world a better place…"

That made you ponder your choices… "Hm… We could change you into an almond tree, almonds are so useful in magic, all kind of them, and so does almond blossom." At this, you saw a sad smile form on her face. "But it's nothing compared to your present magic potential, and wasting it don't sit well with me, not when you clearly want to help."

Then, your sister added. "Most of the time, magical powers come from the bloodline. When you became my friend, mom secretly tested your blood, hopping you could join our coven. But, like most peoples today your lineage is magically weak, which forbade me from revealing that I'm… a witch."

"Don't worry, I understand." Said Allison, a weak smile on her face. "But if my bloodline can't do magic, why can I do it, ME?"

This time, it was your mother who answered. "In some extremely rare case, it's the soul can be the source of magic potency. Every witches are grateful when such individual is discovered, because training it not only mean a new witch or wizard, but also cause the start of a new magically inclined bloodline. Even if they were born in one outrightly inept magically speaking, like you do miss Rhodes."

After a pause, you added. "Allison, you need to know why this is so rare: Magic coming from the soul can only happen when a powerful witch or wizard being reincarnated. But being the reincarnation of someone does NOT make you said person. Contrary to common belief, the soul alone isn't enough to define an individual. That's why we usually train someone like this the traditional way."

When Allison looked at you like she didn't saw where you were going with that, you added. "This creepy F.B.I. agent you spoke of, make it more dangerous to train you, and probably more dangerous to let you roam around untrained. So exceptionally, we could restores your memories from your past lives, but only if YOU wish so."

"But you must be aware of the consequences." warned Brie. "First, we can't know in which of your past lives you were a witch or wizard, only that you were in at least one of them. It also mean gaining memory of both being men and women."
"Secondly, whoever make you remember your past lives will know all of the corresponding identity, along with key moments of their existences." Added your mother.
"Lastly, the ritual need to be done by a lone witch, but none of us is powerful enough to do this alone. The only workaround is for mom and Brie to merge with me, not only physically, but mentally too. And it will be irreversible."

After a pose, to let this all sink in Allison's head, you ask "So, what do you choose?"
