In the Mika and Tobias tended to the animals of the stable, thanks to Tobias help they finished up in a jiffy, Robin was so pleased that he and Tobi's mistress gave them the noon off. Tobias convinced Mika to go to town, and like the time before they didn't bothered with clothing.
"You are not very curious, are you?" said Tobias
Mika looked confused, indeed his new state of mind had dulled his natural curiosity but that brief reminder was enough to take it out of it. "Eh... you said that... you were like me?"
"Kinda... although she wanted someone a little more lucid. See you are not the first adventurer to fall on the clutches of that innkeeper." said Tobias. Suddenly Mika thoughts cleared enough, if Tobias knew perhaps he could help him, but then again why hadn't he said anything before. "You are probably thinking I can help you. But I can't. You see... well is better if I showed you."
They went all over town, Tobias making pig noises all the way until we got to a creek. "You want to swim? There was a faster way." Mika said, but he looked somewhat disappointed, before he could express why though a couple boys appeared. A boy with dark blonde hair in a mess, and a younger one much more skinny accompanied by a third with short auburn hair like mine, a tall lanky black hair boy and another one a little shorter than me but with more tan. All naked save for the tall boy in farmer clothing.
"Go play with Klaus. " said the bigger blonde boy, to what appeared to be his brother. The two littler one took off to splash about in the river.
"He's the new one?" asked the short one.
"Yep. He's staying with Robin though." said the tall one.
"I played with you a few days ago." said Mika to the farmer boy. "Wait... does this means...?" Mika had trouble thinking straight but knew that there was a reason for Tobias to brought them here.
"You have trouble too right... we all do..." said the short boy.
"Let me introduce you to all." said Tobias. "This one is Luka and that's his brother Ander." said about the blonde boys.
"Not his brother..."
"I'm Sebastian, and he one is Jak" said the farmer boy about him and the short boy. "You see, they were all adventurers like you that stopped at Lavenguard some time ago. Jak here has been a farmhand for my family since I was Ander's age."
"But we weren't this..." tried to say Jak. "We know is hard... to think. To speak... listen..."
"You see wizards can't be completely changed, so instead of having just a dim witted stable hand, they leave them lucid enough to use a single spell." said Tobi.
"That we remember is just a side...affect..." said Luka
"Effect... or make them completely obedient, like me." said Tobi "Although I never really wasn't a wizard... I was... protected... the funny thing is I don't remember. So I became a pigkeeper for the mistress."
"I milk the cows I make cows." said Luka.
"Luka and Ander aren't actually brothers, but they think they are. You see Robin seeks up wizards to do his bidding, but wizards rarely travel alone, so whenever they brought company and they are not changed into animals well..." Tobias turned around to see the two skinny kids splashing in the water.
"Ander was friend... now brother... he is alone..." said Luka.
"Some urchins used to be adventurers, there might be more but some do are simply urchins. Luka remember Ander, because they were changed at the same time. As for the last boy, we know he's new because we saw him come out of the inn yesterday." said Sebastian. "I think he said his name was Aubrey."
