You and Tulipelle go into Dandel's bedroom and sit on her bed. "So... heartfriends, huh?" You begin.
"Well, not if you don't want to." Tulipelle said.
"That's the thing... I do want to. I mean, every moment I spend with you, I'm more and more sure about it. I can't explain it."
"I can." Tulipelle said, putting her hand on your leg. "Those stories from your world; ever wonder why they're called 'fairy tales', even though not all of them have actual fairies in them?"
"Why's that?"
"The way fairies fall in love. Our hearts speak to each other on sight, and that's what attracts us to one another. It's why I came back to check on you last night. I was confused as to my feelings since you were human and male, hence, why I kept my distance and fled when you saw me; but I didn't want to leave you either, which is why I kept close. That's the only reason you were able to catch me."
"Really," you said with a smirk, "you sure about that?"
"Hey, if I wanted to, I could've flown circles around you, and made it back to the village before your head stopped spinning. Anyway, back to the topic at hand: After you caught me, I kinda got curious as to what you would look like as a girl, so I may have made up a story about fairies not taking well to males."
"Wait... you made that up?"
Tulipelle lowered her head. "Yes, I'm sorry."
You thought a moment before speaking. "So, how do I look, then?"
Tulipelle clearly did not expect that question, but eventually she said. "I daresay you'd make the queens themselves jealous." You giggled and fluttered your wings at the compliment. "So, as for us... you really want to be my heartfriend?"
"As long as were confessing, I have something to say, too. I also felt something back when I was human. Anyone else might have thought you looked bizarre what with your almost anime-like proportions, but me, I thought you were strangely alluring; in spite of that, or, maybe, because of it, I don't know; but when I first laid eyes on you this morning, I'd have sworn I saw an angel."
It was Tulipelle's turn to giggle and flutter her wings. "Aww, thanks... but... anime? Seriously?"
"Er... forget it; but anyway, yes, consider me your heartfriend." The two of you leaned in together and, wings quivering, gave one another a long, passionate kiss.
