As Miss Jane and Sybil sit together watching the pasture and their Daniel at play with his mares, his Mother reflects about the many letters she recieved.
"I think back as to my personal feelings of horror and the disgust a parent feels when their child decides on something so wrong. When Daniel told in his own happy manner of at first entering an experiment program with the plan to make money for paying us back, well I thought he had honor. Yet once he wrote of the planned sexual conquests and living the lifestyle of some plain and ordinary beast, I was really filled with terror." said Sybil as Miss Jane listened quietly.
"The letters where Daniel told of his growning feet comes to mind. He mentioned the feelings as he watched day by day his ankle change to a hock and his feet grow out long. Then too the toes as they fused down to make a single toed hoof, he was so taken by that! As skin changed from pink to brown and then to a deep black he wrote and sounded full of giggles. I'm reminded of his thoughts when first allowed to walk on hoofs and his wonderous delight, how strange it sounded." told Sybil.
"Since then he has accepted his lifestyle well and as you can see he runs and taunts his herd showing a true joy!" replied Miss Jane.
"Yes, I guess that's some of the reason I almost agreed with Doctor Haun to enter the experiment program, lucky for me I didn't! Oh I'm pleased for Daniel now but would for myself not wish to become some old mare. I think that such is Ok for the young to learn and frolick so and in time I hope Daniel could be his true self again!"said Sybil with an empassioned tone.
Miss Jane's face darkens quickly with a frown.
"What troubles you Miss Jane?" asked Sybil.
"You, you trouble me by what you say! Daniel is as he will always now be, a Dartmoor Stallion Pony! His cell structure was set up for long term reformation process and feom then till the day he dies he will be a pony!" Miss Jane tells Sybil.
"But I thought, the Professor said, you mean he will always be the stud animal on your farm?" asked Sybil as tears welled up.
"Sybil, I thought you had grasped the fact that Daniel was and will remain a stallion his entire life! In fact there is not any serum yet invented to return any of those who opt for long term as sujects in the experiment! That is maybe why the Doctor Haun saw in Daniel's Father the fear of some unknown and with his peronal doctor decided to enter him into the program. In any case you had your chance and if at some time wish to retain your marriage to Daniel's Father just say the word. In the vault in still a small bottle of Exmoor serum and when you desire such a joining again it won't take long to be a Exmoor mare." offered Miss Jane.
Sybil sat and starred at Miss Jane. Then she asked a question, "Your telling me that if I ask and be injected that my body would really become as a mare? Oh but I'd be an old mare, soon to die and not worth a dime!"
"OH no I'd never let you down that way, never! Along with the Exmoor serum was several other bottles not to mention one for age regression. Per say I injected you with age regression first and we moved you back to when say 18 years of age. Then inject the Exmoor serum and do a second but final reformation making you a young mare. Then as a mare you would live and maybe out live Daniel's Father and your Hubby. If of course this becomes your wish I will be happy to assist in any way!" offered Miss Jane.
