Your body was still aching but you lifted your "head" and saw that there was some face staring right at you. A girl with short brown hair and red eyes. The two of you stared for a moment as you were a bit scared and the girl was a little curious.
The girl asked "Are you ok?"
you just stared in silence still tense not sure what the girl was asking.
"Are you alright? I'm Sara and just turned four! Are you called something?" you were still silent and stiff as a twig as Sara then said "Do you even have a name miss?" not understanding Sara at all you had to just reply with silence. "Do you need a name?.. What was that term for plants? Chlorophyll?... Mind if I called you Chlory?" again more silence is all you gave.
hearing a door open you heard a more adult woman's voice say "Sara you alright in here, you've been looking at that plant thing for a long time... it's awake?"
Sara nodded and said "Chlory's awake!"
"You named it Chlory?" asked the woman who was probably the little girl's mother.
Sara nodded and said "It's a shortened Chlorophyll, isn't it cute?"
the woman said "Chlory will be your responsibility you know, your in charge of watering Chlory."
After a few months you had grown to around the size of a small shrub and began understanding what Sara and Mom was saying along with speaking. After your first year you had gotten to the size of a kindergartner and Mom had sent out some papers for you to become a legal citizen and be adopted by your family. Around this time Mom was also getting Sara ready for kindergarten and you wanted to go as well. A bit to tired to argue she signed you up and you would see how things would go. In a new pot and having grown yourself a leafy "dress" and your leafy hair turning a lovely shade of red you went off to kindergarten with Sara where.
