Using a special wheelchair like device provided by the school thanks to a "no species left behind" bill passed by the government you wheeled yourself with Sara to the class. Most of your books and whatnot were stuffed in some compartments in the wheelchair thing, and you were given a desk right next to the window as well... mostly for photosynthetic reasons even though your reddening leaves were losing their chlorophyll. However right next to you was a hive minded bee colony thing. A few of the bees had come to check you out a bit and were poking around through your leaves/vines finding some of your unopened buds. It feeling strange you told the human teacher who had told the hive mind bee colony to buzz off and mind their own business. After a small orientation you were given a break to socialize. Sara had went out to socialize with more animal like kids while you were kind of in a more trance like state absorbing some of the sunlight.
During your trance you heard a something say "Sorry about earlier miss... your female right?"
you took a quick glance left and right and asked "Who are you?"
A little fairy like creature flew in front of your vision and said "Sorry about earlier... the bee part of me just found you a little interesting." looking closer the little fairy girl thing looked a little yellow and fuzzy kind of like the bees. she said "My name's Stella, I'd suppose you'd call me the brains of the body... I hold some control over the bees, but at times they have a bit of a mind of their own."
you chuckled a little and said "I was named Chlory."
Stella said more seriously "But seriously they don't have a mind of their own. It's just their instincts make me make odd decisions at times with them... I let them outside for now so they can go gather nectar from flowers outside... Once those flowers in you bloom I could help them out with my bees..."
you say "As long as you don't do any funny business I guess it's fine..."
Stella landed on you and said "Thanks, it's always nice to know I can easily meal for the rest of me." Her small body shuddered and then she continued "There's a strong breeze outside, could you open a window quickly?" You opened the window a crack and a swarm of bees flew underneath and a few got tangled in you.
You chuckled and said "Hey those bees are tickling me..."
"Sorry, it's hard to manage 30 bees rushing around in one small space."
The two of you continued to chat a bit and grew to enjoy each other. Kindergarten was fine for you, Stella, Sara, and you did fine with a lot of the subjects for your first day. Going home Stella had accidentally left part of herself in you which allowed the two of you to chat from evening to dawn... since you didn't really need sleep and the part of Stella that you had was going to die soon anyways. The two of you had ended up bonding fairly well.
