It had been six months since it was revealed to the world that werewolves were real. In the time since, there had been controversy all over as some were accepting, even pushing for legal protections under law.
Others were fearful of them, their perceptions clouded by decades of horror movies. They wanted to round up and destroy every last werewolf. There had been reports circulating of werewolves found strung up and either shot repeatedly with silver bullets or in more horrifying cases, burned alive. This left many fearful to reveal themselves lest they meet the same fate.
Still others were holding werewolf pride gatherings, putting themselves out there in the public face as much as possible to try and show how misunderstood they were. They would gather with groups of enthusiasts to hold bite-a-thons, offering anyone who wanted to join the werewolf ranks the opportunity.
Over time, other were-creatures also revealed themselves to the public as well. As everyone tried to figure out their place in society with this new stunning revelations, people couldn’t help but wonder what else was real.
