Mary invited him in so he could explain the fact that he knew about the vials. As she sat on the couch and ray sat in another chair, he began to explain why he gave them to her.
" you see mary, these six months with you have been the best times of my life. So, I thought I would give you a present to thank you and to show how much I love you. The vials I gave you are made to grant whoever drinks it, their deepest, secret wish. I found them on my doorstep, just like you. After experimenting with them, I thought you would love to have them. And seeing that you obviously enjoy your new form, I guess I was right. I could have just drank them all and had anything I wanted. But what's the point of having everything if you can't share it with the ones you love? I'm just glad your happy about your surprise. And don't worry about losing me now that your a big slobby croc. I actually like it a lot."
Absorbing everything ray told her, Mary felt a rush of emotions going through her head. "he loves me! He likes it. He used me as a test subject. He's a lier." when her mind clear she realized that what he was saying was true. Ray always did like seeing her happy. So in a way, this was ray's gift to her for those months of memories, joy and love. Mary started to cry, but stopped as she felt ray hug her giant belly. She accepted it and hugged him back, thanking him for all he has done.
"so Mary.", ray said," what do want to do? Make another wish? Or do you want me to feed you? Just tell me and I'll do it."
