Ty blinked, the boy was over by the nearby bike rack unlocking a bicycle. He had already unlocked two others. Now he was struggling to wheel away the three expensive bicycles. Ty could hear a muffled sound coming from the boy. He thought it was sobbing, but realized the guy was giggling. He wished he knew what the kid was thinking. Suddenly, he did.
Those three jocks were so easy. I saw those bikes when they arrived, and thought "Pay Day." The moment I overheard they were going to the Sporting Goods Store, I knew how I'd snag their keys. I know just what to say, what buttons to push to get dumb jocks to pick on poor defenseless little me. They roughed me up, and I picked their pockets. Took out the cash and put the wallets back, too but kept the keys. Damn, I'm good.
Ty shook his head. He had been taken in too. He had transformed those guys. He glanced over his shoulder as they exited the store. Still confused, their single goal was to get home and hide. They were coming for their bikes. Ty was tempted to undo his horrors, but decided to leave things as they were. The thief would change instead. He stepped back. The kid dropped the keys and struggled to keep the three bikes upright.
