"Oh I don't know if I can. I mean, this can't be real, can it?" Nate shook his head, not quite believing he was even having this discussion.
"Just say it Nate, I know you want to. I can tell. I can't prove myself to you if you won't tell me what you want."
Nate let out a deep sigh. "Well, I always wanted to be a werewolf."
There was a moment of silence. "You know, I knew when your call came through you were going to be an interesting one."
"Yeah, I suppose I am."
"So, you want to be a werewolf huh? I think I can manage that."
"Oh come on! This is ridiculous..." said Nate.
"You still doubt my power huh? How about now?"
Nate let out a bit of a laugh. "I mean, the idea of being turned into a werewolf over the phone...it's a bit much."
"You could be pleasantly surprised, just humor me."
"Ok, I'll go along with it," muttered Nate, playing along.
"Good, now we need to discuss your preferences while I configure your spell," said Samantha.
“Such as?” asked Nate, feeling more awkward than ever.
“Well, there have been a few different incarnations of werewolves. Do you only want to transform at the full moon or do you want to be able to transform at any time day or night?”
“Anytime, obviously,” Nate scoffed at that one.
“Right, of course, silly question. Ok, moving on, how dramatic of a transformation are you thinking of?”
“Well, what are my options?” asked Nate.
“There is everything from just fangs, claws and a bit of hairiness all the way to a four legged man sized wolf. I must caution you that the more dramatic the transformation, the more arduous and painful it is,” replied Samantha.
“Of course, that would be something to consider,” Nate thought over it for a moment. “Ok, I know I would have to go for…”
