Looking back toward his lapine girlfriend, Drew began to notice that Molly had this depressed look on both her face and physical stance. After all, being raised in a military family that has ties to the U.S federal government, Drew was able to distinguish even the most subtle of emotional changes, thanks to being taught by one of his cousins who was a expert criminal profiler, despite being at a young age of 25.
From his perspective, Drew saw that Molly's long rabbit ears drooped down a little more than usual, while she grabbed onto both of her furry arms with her paw-like hands, barely even touching her food anymore, as her body shook a little as if she was haunted by someone or something.Worried about his transformed lover, Drew approached the upset Molly, knelt down a little to match her height, looking at her and asked, "Are you okay there, honey? You're not feeling sick, are you?"
"....No, Drew. I'm.....I-I'm not feeling alright. *sob* I.... I-I don't to face 'him' a-again."Molly replied, clearly showing signs of trauma from the whole experience, shedding a tear from how much Changes had ruined her life. Always compassionate toward the lapine girl, Drew gave his depressed rabbit girl of a lover a long and passionate hug, showing her that he wasn't going to let anything happen to her.
Besides, from seeing what has happened in the aftermath of her transformation, Drew had beared witness to how much Molly's own parents had neglected her as their daughter, almost to the point that he wanted to snap at them for mistreating Molly like she was some sort of animal. This was one of the main reasons why Drew had Molly move in with him; to make her feel like she was not a freak, to make her feel like her old self.
So, as he continued to wrap her in a loving embrace, Drew spoke toward Molly in a understanding but compassionate tone and said, "Look Molly, I.... I know that you don't want to face Mr. Changes again. I mean, if it was me in charge of the whole trial, I would simply just have you in another room a good distance away from that son of a bitch. After all, in my opinion, he's just a monster in human skin. But...." From there, Drew gently laid his right hand upon Molly's furry cheek, causing the lapine girl to slowly laid her left paw-like hand on top of her boyfriend's hand in a tender loving manner, showing a gentle tearful smile from the action.
"....I'm not a judge in the Supreme Court. However, I'm staying by your side throughout the trial....okay?" Drew answered, finishing his sentence, while SSA Hutchison listened in on the whole conversation, since Drew forgot that he still was on the line with him. Though, from hearing what they were saying, the FBI Agent could understand that Molly really had it rough for the past six months, especially when her own parents no longer view her as their daughter anymore.
But getting back on topic, Hutchison spoke toward Drew on the phone and said, "Judging from the short conversation you and your girlfriend were having, I am guessing she....is rather uncomfortable with confronting the very criminal who changed her into what she currently is now, correct?" "*long sigh* Yeah. You're right about that, Agent Hutchison. Molly....had it very rough while she was still with her parents when she was transforming into a anthropomorphic rabbit. When I went to her house and saw her down in the basement, she literally hugged me on sight, still crying from how bad her parents were treating her. It's one of the reasons why I.....I had her move in with me." Drew replied, explaining to the FBI Agent how bad it was for the poor lapine girl.
