"Hmm....I can understand why, Mr. Allen; You seem to care a great deal for your beloved girlfriend. Although I might be asking just a tad too much, but...do you mind if I speak to Molly? After all, I am sure that the young lady deserves an explanation, doesn't she?" Agent Hutchison said, requesting for permission to speak to Molly. At first, Drew wanted to politely deny the tenor-voiced FBI Agent from speaking to his lapine girlfriend.
However, after thinking about it for a mere moment or two, Drew ended up deciding to allow SSA Hutchison to talk to Molly. From there, just as he turned down the volume on his cell phone some to prevent damaging his girlfriend's hearing, Drew carefully handed his cell phone to Molly, assisting her a bit in holding it due to her lapine paw-like hands, forcing Molly to hold up her boyfriend's cell phone with both paw-like hands. Then, she held the phone up to her left rabbit ear and timidly asked, "H-Hello?"
"Ms. Molly Rhoer, my name is SSA Morgan Hutchison." Hutchison replied, introducing himself to the rabbit girl. But in response, Molly spoke to the Agent and asked, "SSA?" "It stands for Supervisory Special Agent. In more simpler terms, it means I am a member of the FBI, Ms. Rhoer." Hutchison answered, explaining to the timid and slightly confused rabbit girl about who he was, as well as his affiliations.
Still somewhat confused about the whole ordeal, Molly spoke toward the FBI Agent once more and said, "But....I-I don't understand. W-Why would the FBI be interested with what I've been through? It....I-It doesn't make any sense." "Then allow me to elaborate. You see, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has been keeping a close eye on Eugene Changes for quite a long time now. Originally, we left the case to the local law enforcement to sort out. But it was when the daughter of a U.S Senator was reported missing that the Bureau became suspicious of Mr. Changes and his 'business', Ms. Rhoer." Agent Hutchison answered, giving a clear-cut but detailed explanation of how the FBI got onto Changes and his sickening plot.
Out of some anger and distress toward Changes and what he did to her, Molly snapped over the phone and yelled, "No offense, sir, but business my ass! That bastard ruined my life, and *sob* thanks to him, my parents think I'm some sort of inhuman freak!" "I greatly apologize for the misery you have endured, Ms. Rhoer. I understand that you and many of Changes' victims have experienced some prejudice from the general public, but you still have Mr. Allen and your friends who care about your well-being, as well as support you, much like any family would do." Hutchison replied, reassuring the distressed rabbit girl, which helped Molly feel a little better.
"Though, the true reason why I have decided to confront both you and your boyfriend in a social manner is because we need you to come down to Washington D.C for the trial against Mr. Changes." Agent Hutchison explained, unsure on how Molly will answer, but suspecting that she will not go, wanting to be nowhere near the very man who changed her and turned her whole life upside down.
For Molly, it was very hard to simply say no, as closed her eyes in a panicked state, shaking her anthropomorphic rabbit head multiple times at a rapid pace. Drew knew that look on his lapine lover's face, as he quickly up to Molly, put both of his hands on her furry shoulders and said, "Molly! Hey, look at me! Molly!" Simply hearing the sound of Drew's voice made the rabbit girl stop, calming down from what appeared to be some sort of traumatic reaction.
From there, Drew carefully and gently took the cell phone out of Molly's paw-like hands, as he then put the phone up to his ear and heard SSA Hutchison said, "Molly, is everything alright over there?" "*Sigh* Look, I'm so sorry, Agent Hutchison. It's just that Molly.....she's been more easily frightened than she used to be, before she even became a human-rabbit hybrid. I'm not sure if it's because she gained the instincts of a rabbit, or from the trauma of what she had experienced. But I know one thing for certain; she doesn't want to get anywhere near him whatsoever." Drew replied, obviously very concerned about his lapine girlfriend, but wanting to make sure Changes went to prison for life.
