"A centaur." Nate grinned as he said it. "A really big centaur, based on a draft horse, like a Clydesdale or Shire."
"Now that is a great change." Samantha chuckled. "So much better than just getting a few more muscles. Let's fine tune it a little. Be as specific as you can,. Breed, color, sex, any changes to your human features, special abilities."
"Special abilities?" asked Nate.
"Well, extra strength or speed, the ability to switch between horse and centaur, or centaur and horse. Pretty much anything you can imagine."
"OK. A Clydesdale-based centaur, definitely male, equivalent to human age 18, Lean and muscular human body, a Scottish redhead with freckles and blue eyes, able to be a human, horse or centaur at will, sexually attractive and very active, always young and healthy." Nate grinned. "Is that too much?" This was fun, if a waste of time. It wasn't like she could really do anything magic.
Samantha said "Not at all. Nice touch on the end - eternal youth and health. Much smarter than asking for eternal life."
"Oh!" Nate suddenly realized he'd have a problem if he became a centaur where he was. Might as well keep up the pretense. "One last thing. I need to be able to fit in with my form. So if I am in a car and change to a horse I don't get hurt."
"Good idea. You want to be in a comfortable place whenever you change, a place your form fits in."
"Yeah, that's good." Nate grinned to himself again. "Like a Clydesdale stud farm when I'm a horse. Heck, I could be a stable hand when I'm human."
"You got it!" Samantha sounded cheerful. "Almost done here. OK, I have the spell ready. And done!"
Nate felt a strange flash of heat, and then a sudden chill that made him shudder, and then he felt OK. Had he imagined that? Then he gasped in surprise.
