Everything was dark for a while. Motions were volatile and Beth had to grip the edge of the plastic tub for dear life to avoid being shaken to death. The Prince put his arms around her claiming he was trying to protect her, but Beth could swear she felt a hand drift south.
Soon, the former humans saw light again - they were in a kitchen. The tub was emptied into another, where Beth and the Prince had a bit more space to move and swim. "Ooh, something smells good in here," the Prince remarked. "I can smell steak! I wonder if we'll get some."
"Just how stupid are you?" Beth reprimanded him. "You don't bring frogs into the kitchen of a restaurant to feed them steak, you fool. We're in trouble, here!"
"Um, okay, let's think..." the Prince zoned out. "Hey, if we're gonna croak tonight, we might as well go out on a high, right?" He winked at her, arms around her waist again.
"Do you ever think of anything else?!" Beth croaked back. "We need to get kissed. I mean, at least one of us, then we can change the other one back."
"How are we going to do that? I was a pretty handsome Prince, but I won't look so good to these waitresses in green."
There was a rumbling from above. The plastic lid was removed from the tub, and a net was dipped into the water.
That net wasn't going anywhere until either Beth or the Prince climbed in. They both looked at each other, terrified.
"Ladies first?" The Prince asked.
"Be a gentleman!" Beth stammered back. One of them had to go.
