Walking his way thru the strip mall toward his car Bobby saw a stroller with a 2-year-old boy in it, at one of the sidewalk cafes. Keeping his distance he nonchalantly watched the child as he thought in his head ‘I wish he was 5 years old’. The baby squirmed in his seat a little as his clothes appeared to tighten on his frame. Before long a 5-year-old sat in tightly stretched 2-year-old’s clothes that themselves started to change. He had normal fitting clothes on but still sitting in a stroller.
Amazed at what he saw, Bobby wanted to go further, wishing the child was his own age – 16. Discomfort could be seen on the boys face as he began to grow again, pulling off his shoes to free his feet. Standing, the boy shot up in height to 5’9” his childish clothes skin tight as his body matured; voice deepened; hair grew across his legs, with fuzz on his stomach and chin; Muscles expanded to the point his clothes were starting to give way. Spiderman underwear quickly changed to boxers and his shorts grew long and baggy, his red cartoon shirt grew into a oversize surfing shirt as socks expanded over his feet and shoes grew into skater shoes on the ground next to him. The stroller behind him disappeared as the world altered to match his new age.
“Hey mom, Bobby’s over there, I’m going to go hang out with him.”
Bobby’s eyes widened as he heard this and saw the boy walking over to him. But in his head he knew the kid was Eric and they had been friends since they were little, he was so confused and accidentally wished...
