Samantha was spent after ejaculating. She climbed back up into her own bunk bed, ignoring the wet spot that had started this whole experience and was out like a light.
Julia, on the other hand, was not tired at all. She lay down for a while and inspected the magic flashlight that she had found. It had always been rather dark while she was using it so she had only felt the twisty-part that changed the colour. But now she could discern some small letters on a dial at the end of the torch and her fingers felt another slider she had previously not seen.
She decided to get up and sneak out, carefully closing the door behind her. Julia walked into the kitchen/lounge area of the residence, sat down on the settee and put her legs up on the low table there. She was dressed in her boxer shorts, a white t-shirt over her perky B-cup breasts and some cute pink socks.
Julia looked carefully at the dial. It was currently set to 'NM', but there were also the settings 'IN', 'OR', 'SP', 'MI', 'RL'. Next to it was a small binary switch with 'A' and 'U' on it.
"Here goes nothing," she said to herself and decided to experiment on herself, justifying to herself that she could most likely revert whatever she tried. She twisted the light to a medium blue setting, switched the dial to 'IN' and pointed it at her feet. Before her eye, her socks' colour faded from pink to white, got thicker, longer and eventually turned into comfortable men's sport socks.
The light slipped a little, briefly bathing her lower legs in the blue light. Julia noticed that nothing changed on her body and inferred that the 'IN' setting did not affect her body.
She set the dial back to 'NM' and turned the colour to a very intense pink. She expected the socks to stay the same and just the feet change but in fact both adjusted and she ended up with dainty feet and cute little hello-kitty socks.
"Ah, 'NM' has got stand for 'Normal' and 'IN' for 'Inanimate', so I guess 'OR' stands for 'Organic matter'," she hypothesised. To test it, she twisted the colour all the way to the other end and shone it on her feet again. Within seconds they expanded in all dimensions and grew many sizes, while the socks remained the same girly "Hello Kitty" brand, just adjusted to suit her foot size.
"Hypothesis confirmed," she smiled and transformed her feet and socks back to her original form. The next ten minutes she tried to figure out what 'SP', 'MI' and 'RL' could stand for. None of them had any effect on her except that when she used the 'MI' setting where she felt something different but just could not put a finger on what it was.
The slider however was an easy discovery: it regulated the area that was covered by the light cone. She also noticed that a focussed light would change things much quicker and after fiddling around she even noticed that pushing the slider hard against the front end, the beam was nearly a laser. "Wow, this must be some kind of sniper mode used for distance"
Just then, one of the sports' camp coaches walked into the kitchen/lounge room without immediately spotting Julia. This gave her enough time to revert things to normal.
It was Fabrizio, the handsome Italian coach of the girl's football (aka soccer) team. "Oh, ciao! I did not see you there before. You can't sleep either?" he asked her once he was startled by her presence. "I just came here to make myself a tea."
Julia lied: "Ignore me, I could not sleep because one of my room-mates is snoring."
Fabrizio asked her whether she wanted a tea too.
"Oh, yes please. I'll have a mint tea," she responded with a smile.
"Coming right up…", he said, turning away towards the sink and filling up the water cooker.
Julia used this opportunity to see how the other settings worked on other people.
