"Genie, I'm ready for my second wish," Davis said with a little apprehension.
"Your wish is my command" I told him graciously.
"I wish I no longer lived with my parents." Davis said. I made my choice and instead Davis had said, "I wish in no longer lived with my parents during the semester."
Instantly, Davis and I were transported to a college dorm on the other side of town. Davis, thinking that this wish was of his own plan said, "Great, now I can go to school without commuting!"
Davis remembered making the wish but he had forgotten that up until this point, he had been working at a dead end job at a grocery store while living at his parent's house.
As Davis surveyed his new dorm, there was the sound of a key in the door. Then, a young man came in and said, "Hey old man, how's it going?" Davis blushed at being called old but he remembered that this was his roommate Jake.
"Hey Jake, this is um my friend Gene." David said pointing at me.
"I don't care, I'm just here to take a shit before I go to practice." Jakes aid dismissively as he walked towards the suite's bathroom shucking off his polo shirt and grabbing his lacrosse jersey.
Davis felt uncomfortable in the room with such an abrasive and imposing roommate. He looked to me and made his wish.
