Brian thought quickly, trying to come up with something he might like. "Could you make me a satyr?"
The wizard looked surprised but nodded. "That would be quite easy, since you already have the general appearance and size. But satyrs are rather prone to mischief, and can have considerable magical ability. That might be a real complication for the members of your party."
Tye chuckled. "One is a dragon, another is a female elf who would castrate him if he tried anything on her. If you join the party with Mike, I expect he might be very tempted to work on you."
"I am willing to take the risk. At worst, for me, I'll end up a satyr wizard. Of course, he will be a goat."
Brian swallowed nervously. He wasn't sure just what powers they were talking about, but now that they mentioned it, he had read some stories about satyrs transforming young men and boys into satyrs themselves. As well as into other things. It would be fun to have that kind of power, but he'd have to be careful not to end up an animal himself. "Uh, I promise not to do anything to you."
The young wizard grinned. "Even if I ask you to?"
"Oh!" Brian flushed, but grinned back. "Well, sure!"
"Very well." Llandros concentrated and spoke a complicated series of sounds, then made a gesture with his hands.
Brian gasped as heat shot out from his crotch, searing legs and feet, roasting his butt, and curiously flashing hot spots in his ears and forehead. He teetered suddenly, unsteady for a moment, and then balanced himself. The heat vanished as he looked down to see brown curly fur that started at his waist and spread down over the hindquarters of a muscular goat - a very male goat. His testicles hung down halfway to his knees, and the black sheath between his legs was proportionally huge for his still-small size. However, when he tried to walk around on his small cloven hooves, he found that his legs were structured to accommodate the enormous sexual parts. Remembering the pains in his head, he reached up to feel small horns protruding from each side of his forehead, and pointed, furred ears. Muscles pulled over his rump, and he felt more than saw a nub of a tail that wagged and shifted on command.
"Wow!" Brian looked back at Tye and the wizard with a grin. "This is awesome! Thanks!"
The wizard nodded. "Now go outside and play for a few minutes while we finish up in here. I'll be out with your horsey friend and we can join your party."
Play! Brian felt a thrill of anticipation. He loved to play - tricks on people. "Sure thing! I'll see you outside!"
He scamper to the doors and managed to open them enough to slip through.
Tye chuckled. "It's your town, but are you sure you want unleash a new satyr on them?"
Llandros raised his eyebrows. "Are you kidding? I've been abuse here as a stable boy for years! Nothing would make me happier than to see him turn some of them into animals, or satyrs, or piles of manure!" He looked around and started moving towards the back. "I just need to gather the few belongings I have. Then I'll head outside and escape while I can."
Tye frowned a moment, then looked surprised. "You need a diversion!"
"Yep!" Llandros chuckled. "I expect that our friend Brian will cause quite a disturbance - certainly enough to distract the townsfolk from noticing me riding out on Mike."
"I just hope they don't have measures in place to deal with Satyrs the way you treat centaurs." Tye grinned. "I'll let the others know. Good luck!" He vanished as the young wizard conjured tack and a saddle, and mounted up.
