As Llandros and Tye dealt with Brian, Mike was being finished up by Aaron. The magic seemed to work faster now that his mind was adjusting, and even his confusion was clearing. His arms and shoulders vanished into a powerful equine neck, and the transformation of his head was actually pleasant - the human features were too flat, too dead. His horse's nostrils and ears were far more sensitive, and if vision lost color and got distorted, it also expanded to give him an almost 360-dgeree view and great motion detection. By the time Llandros returned with his belongings and zapped up a saddle and reins, the red-haired fighter was grooming what looked like a magnificent, but normal Shire stallion. After the wizard had mounted Mike, Aaron frowned. "What about me? If you take my horse, I'll have to walk."
Llandros grinned. "Oh, you won't have trouble keeping up." He concentrated and made a gesture.
Aaron gasped as his legs throbbed and twisted, stumbling forward as the ground pressed against him. When the sensation passed, his head was higher than that of the mounted Llandros. A look back showed why - Aaron was now a centaur with the same massive draft hose body as Mike.
"A centaur came in, a centaur needs to go out." Llandros started towards the doors. "I'll change you back when we reach the camp - if you want me to."
