"Yes...well, no..." you speak a little quietly at first, still not comfortable with the new voice, "it's kind of a long story."
The woodsman takes off his coat and slowly approaches you, reaching out to offer it to you. "I've got time; a woman shouldn't be out here on her own, and especially shouldn't be playing around with Ambrosia berries, who knows what you'll end up eating."
You take a half-step back as he approaches you, but he seems earnest and after a moment you take the coat from his hands and wrap yourself in it, relieved to have clothing on your body again. The rough wool fabric chafes against your enlarged nipples, but you're more than happy to accept that at the moment.
"Thank you..." you mutter.
"Of course madam, but now you must share. How did a kin like you find your way out here, alone and naked? And your voice, the accent is so strange...what lands are you from?"
You open your mouth, fully intent on stating your name, age, hometown and even any other details about your male life, but nothing but a nervous squeak comes out. As you try to speak, you realise you can't remember any of the details; you know you are or were a man, that you lived in another world, but now it is gone. Reaching up subconsciously, you run your fingers along the necklace, wondering if it is somehow affecting you.
"Like I said, it's a long story, but I live a long way from here and I need to get home...and what are Ambrosia berries?"
"You don't know? You're in grave danger, miss. Chaos magic seeped into these woods long ago and corrupted them, and many strange things can be found here. Ambrosia berries are delicious and nourishing, but the fey magic they are infused with can cause any number of side effects. How many did you eat?"
"A couple of handfuls...I feel fine, though!" you protest.
"Maybe you got lucky; be careful eating anything you don't recognise out here. Now, I live a couple of miles from here, and the nearest town's about a day's hike north. You're welcome to stay with me if you want, until we can help you find your way home."
