Feeling a surge of confidence, or possibly fear and paranoia about this strange man, you shake your head. "No, no, I think I'll find my own way home. Thank you, but I don't need the help and I would hate to interrupt...whatever it is you're doing."
You do your best to look confident, but your lowered ears and nervous tail flicks don't seem to be helping. The fact is that even if you're not sure you're safe around this man, you're definitely not sure if you'll be okay out here in the wilderness. Dangerous berries, no idea how to hunt or catch prey, no sign of town, no job and nothing else. It'll be dangerous and difficult, but if anyone can do it, it's you. You rub your arms nervously, realizing how comforting the coat is, and look at him.
"Do you want your coat back?"
