After Emily took her first clumsy steps, she automatically reprogrammed herself for balance on new sole surface. She smiled when her demo made her jump in the air a few times and drum her toes for the test. She walked out of the workshop, while her objectives projected in front of her bionic eye.
-Find some food for the kid.
-Find the kid and bring him back.
-Took him to the police to find his real parents.
She got into a supermarket to buy some food, and even some chocolates for the kid. Everyone was looking at the cyborg lady shopping for food. She located all the necessities and brought them to the cashier. Cashier was stunned to see Emily, as she hadn't seen anything like her before. Emily calmly spoke through her voice synthesizer:
"Activating debit card system... Point of sale terminal required..."
Cashier didn't say anything and brought to POS terminal to Emily, and she opened up her index finger to bring out a little chip containing her bank account system. She just put the chip inside and brought out. Cashier once again amazed at what she did, and Emily went out of the market. "Got to love that amazing body!" her human part thought.
She finally found out the kid and gave him the treats. Kid jumped in the air with joy, and hugged Emily's robotic leg once again, saying "Thank you knight lady!".
Emily smiled back, and said:
"Next objective, find your parents, do you confirm?"
Kid was puzzled, but understood what she was trying to say. He also felt the same thing.
"Yes lady, i'm coming with you. How can I be like you when i grow up? You're so cool!"
She put her hand on his hand to caress his hair, and said:"Affirmative, preparing to leave."
She turned her back and prepared to leave.
