The two boys peddled their hearts out, laughing as they turned the corner. They stopped at last in front of a familiar house. Justin knew this was his brother's girlfriends house, but as his brother was now a preteen, he wondered if the other boy remembered her. He did notice the other boy looking longingly to the house.
"Hey, Jake, whatcha looking at?"
Jake blinked, "Oh nothin' Theres a girl in that house, I've seen her a few times. She's kinda pretty!"
"Well why don't you ask her out?" Justin asked.
The other boy blushed. "What? No way! Shes a teenager, in high school, she wouldnt want to go out with a kid like me."
"Aww come on, at least go up and knock on the door, introduce yourself." Justin said, grinning as he thought about a wish to make.
Jake paused...but the hesitation turned to determination as he set his bike aside. "Ok, be right back."
