"Hey Linda!" A voice called from one of the houses across the street as a man about Linda's age, or, at least her age when she was a human comes out. She recognized him as her boyfriend from when she was human, a young man with short black hair and slight facial hair. "Is everything okay? I saw you gallop off earlier."
'I'm okay, Eric,' Linda says as Eric pats her flank a little. She was relieved that Eric at least remembered her, 'I just, kind of freaked out about something, that's all.'
"I'll walk you back home, will that help?" Eric asks.
Linda hesitated a moment, if she interacted with Eric for too long, the change might affect him too. However on the other hand, she didn't want to push him away, he might be able to help her at least.
'Sure,' she says, and walks towards her house with Eric close behind. She didn't want to look at Eric, knowing that he wouldn't be human much longer. 'Thanks Eric.'
"You're welcome, don't worry, I'm here for you," Eric says, stroking her mane as they stopped in the front lawn. "Hows Caroline doing?"
'She's doing fine,' Linda replied, hesitating to go inside just yet. She wasn't quite sure what would trigger the transformation or when it would start, but she had to wonder, would Eric be Caroline's father? Before she could dwell on it father though, she heard a whinny come from beside her.
Linda turned just in time to see Eric's transformation begin. She couldn't help but watch as his clothes ripped and he fell onto all fours quickly as his body began changing. Black fur covered his body as his mane and tail grew out the familiar silver horn of a unicorn. She couldn't help but admire his form, he made a handsome Unicorn Stallion, and she nuzzled his neck almost instinctively.
'Lets go inside,' Linda says, and the two unicorns start heading for the front door.
