...in a flash Keith has considerably changed. Your friend suddenly seems smaller and bulkier. As your eyes recover from the flash
you see his big cartoon-like eyes inside a black band above a beige muzzle. Keith's round head, now looking distinctively feline
, is nearly completely protected by what appears to be a white metal helmet. Triangular ears look like hey were added to this. Co
vering the front is a bent red metal piece with a circular window in the middle looking a bit like a visor.
His now much shorter body is covered in white armour. The breastplate has a red triangle protruding out like a box. It's upper surface is dark blue with a bell in the middle. His arms and shoulders are also protected by the same armour.
He appears to wear white pants and boots, upon closer inspection they too are not made of fabric but a hard material. On his left
side he wears a thin sword inside a red holder. Out of his backside a white tail appeared.
"Teyandee! Nani ga watashi ni okorimashita ka?", Keith exclaimed to his surprise.
"Calm down", you say, "I don't understand you, you sound like you're speaking Japanese.", to which your friend replied, slowly an
d clearly, "Nani o itte iru no ka wakarimasen.".
Suddenly as you slowly walk towards him, you notice a remote in the way. It looks just like a regular remote for your consumer de
vice, though by looking at it it's not clear as to whether it is for a TV a VCR or whatever, however you could swear it wasn't th
ere before. You pick it up and as you examine it you notice a button labeled "Language". You point it towards Keith and press it,
"I wonder if this will help". As you press the button he repeats again, "I don't understand you." You smile, "There we go".
"Ahh that's better", your friend replies, "Sooo.... what exactly am I?". "I'm not sure, " you respond, "but you seem to be some s
ort of armoured cat, possibly even a robot". Keith scratches his back looking at himself and noticing his tail and ears for the f
irst time. They did seem oddly normal to him, though something that could be replaced. "Apparently I can control you with this re
mote.", you say as you offer the remote to him. Keith tries to reach for it, but seems to be held back by an invisible force, he
shattners "Can't... reach... remote... must... be... failsafe", before he gives up, panting. Regaining his power he says, "So I'm
a catbot now, an animal android... hmm animaloid has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?".
You nod slightly absent minded as you ponder the situation and come to a realisation that puts a grin on your face, "Looks like I
've got the upper hand now.".
