As Katie got into the car, Kelly strapped in, Katie lingered at the wheel. She suddenly realized she didn't know how to drive, and just as she thought it, Kelly brought it up.
"Katie? Can you drive?"
"Uhm, of course!" Katie thought, and made a wish. "Why, do you remember how to?"
Kelly blinked, scrunching her nose and concentrating. "I... no..."
"WEll good, because little girls can't drive," Katie said, smiling as the information filled her brain. She started up the car, put it in reverse and began down the street, silently wishing for her moms liscence, registration, title and insurance to the car to switch to her, which they did. "So, where are we going kiddo?"
Kelly huffed and folded her arms, "Don't call me kiddo please?"
"Oh come on, you used to call me it all the time."
"Yes and you didn't like it that much either."
"Heh, sounds like someone's grumpy. Why don't we stop and get a happy meal?"
"What? Gross, I don't want that stuff."
"Come on, your a kid again, Mom. Besides you'll get a toy with it."
"I'm not hungry, besides, we have to get you to my work. If you dont hurry I might forget everything, then Ill lose my job...er..you will."
Katie frowned. She'd thought about that fact. The idea of going to work was actually kind of boring, but she knew if she didn't her mom would put up a fuss.
