When you come to, you're still under the couch. Your kittens have woken up and are having their morning milk. Jack is gone.
Yesterday seems like it was all just a dream. You've always been like this, right? You're pondering this when the last of your kittens finish nursing and pull away. You meow at them to follow you and you guide your family out into the living room. You sit back and swish your tail around. Your kittens are doing the same when you hear a loud crashing noise. You whip your head around and bound out of the living room and into the kitchen. Jack has knocked over a bag of cat food and is busy eating it. You walk up to him and weave your way around him, purring. He does the same to you and you start eating. You dimly remember that you're only supposed to half 1/2 of a cup of this at breakfast time.
You eat the delicious tuna-flavored kibbles for a while then head back to your kittens, who are still sitting in the middle of the living room. But now they look older, about three months old.
