You suddenly can't move. You can see Mrs. Wright in your peripheral vision. She was also hit by the stun gun and can't move. You are like a statue.
The masked man in black leaves and you hear the sounds of a fight. Then you hear the stun gun go off again. Before long the masked man has brought Mr. H and Jordan in to join you. They are also stunned.
You wonder if anyone has sounded any alarm or if anyone outside may have alerted the police. However, you know that the school is probably deserted at this hour. There might be a drama club or a sports club meeting in a few hours but the masked man has plenty of time to do whatever he plans.
He plans to kidnap you. You find yourself loaded into the back of a box truck with the other three and the roller door is shut. Then the truck drives for several miles. Mrs. Wright and Mr. H are unloaded leaving just you and Jordan and the truck drives another several miles.
Finally, you and Jordan are unloaded and placed on furniture movers. You are wheeled through what looks like an abandoned warehouse and down an elevator into what looks like a high tech science lab. A man in a beard and lab coat comes up to you.
"So these are the specimens. They don't look very impressive. Mr. H was planning on breaching national security by implanting the devices in these two?"
You hear a voice behind you. "He already implanted them. I don't think they know it yet but our scans show devices are imbedded into their stomachs."
You puzzle over how a device could be implanted without you knowing about it and then you remember those weird cookies Mrs. Wright gave you.
The bearded man asks, "Can the devices be removed?"
The voice behind you answers, "Yes, but the operation is risky and messy. Besides, now these two know too much. We can't just turn them loose."
The bearded man asks, "What are we going to do with them?"
The voice behind you says, "I don't know. Let's ask Dr. Higgs."
The bearded man leaves and you assume the other voice also leaves although you never get a glimpse of him. For hours, you just stand there as various scientists and soldiers walk around doing who knows what. You even see the masked man enter.
The masked man walks perfectly. Every movement is efficient and controlled. He turns his head and looks at you. Then he takes off his mask knowing that he is revealing his identity. He smiles at you.
He isn't a kid like you first thought. He's short and skinny like a kid but his skin is marked with black diamonds. He removes his wig to reveal black rubber strings instead of hair. His irises rotate before he covers them with sunglasses and walks away. You wonder what's to become of you.
