"Joey, you in there" shouted a large, chubby, bear of a man coming in the house. "...James, i'm in here" said Joey, not sure what he was going to do right now. His older brother had ordered these socks custom made from an online store. James didn't have very much saved up in the bank but was also very superstitious, he wouldn't go long without his lucky socks on and credits every bad moment in his life to taking them off for more than ten minutes. James came in the room and saw the sock in Joey's hand and the one on the bed, he quickly grabbed both and Joey started to protest, "Sorry Joey, gotta go break em' in" the fat man said and was out the door before Joey could get a word in edgewise. "Damn" he thought, it would be impossible to get his son back now, his brother probably wont take them off for another week, and even if he did he forgot which sock his son was. At least he could be reassured that he knew where he was.
In James's "backyard"( the field near his trailer) he was examining the new socks he ordered, "Damn this is some nice, high quality fabric" said the fat man, Jeff's was awake the whole time and felt his uncle's chubby finger caress him, he didn't know why but he felt empty and cold, he felt naked and like something should fill him? he didn't like these feelings because he knew that the Cronovac had made some mental changes on him, he wished his dad would save him before his uncle put him on.
James proceeded with the ceremony of removing his socks, digging a hole in the ground and putting the socks in the hole then putting the left sock on, Jeff was the right sock and knew what was coming next he felt nervous and excited and cursed at himself for wanting this. James put the right sock on his foot, the hole where the foot goes felt like Jeff's mouth, if his mouth was his whole body? The sensation felt like he was giving his uncle's giant chubby foot a hug while also being able to taste, smell and see it. Waves of pleasure went over Jeff and he wasn't able to prepare for James sliding him into a heavy boot, everything went dark.
Joey was able to assess the situation and gain composure, he realized that he needed to get his son back and fast, he drove to his brother's trailer, horrified to find that he was too late, his brother was covered head to toe in sweat, he was pacing around the grave of his last pair of lucky socks, a ceremony of welcoming in a new pair of lucky socks Jeff was one of them. His brother seemed to have been at it for 30 minutes already what was Joey going to do.
