Hardly keeping up with her advanced flying skills, you zoom after her and after going through many passages, holes and foliage as good as inaccessible by man, you come upon the grove where the fairy folk live, as is demonstrated by the hundreds of tiny lights in the cavities and treetops of the great oak trees. Suddenly, Ting stops in front of a hole in one of the great oaks. "This is my tree...and from now on, yours as well." You blink surprised. "Mine? I'm gonna live in a tree?" Ting giggles, "Of course! Where else would fairies live? In houses? Come on in, it's real cozy!" And so you follow. She didn't lie in the least: the tree does indeed look much better on the inside than on the outside, richly decorated with tiny wooden furniture. "And the beds are up here", Ting continues, "come and see, just fly through the hole up here." The beds do look wonderfully soft, and the miraculous thing is how fast they have been to add a second bed to the abode, as if they knew you were going to live here. "There's not many rooms in this tree though, so we'll have to share most things...but you don't mind that, do you?" You shake your head to confirm that this is no problem. "Good!", she replies, "let's get something to eat then!" Ting serves you a wonderful meal of forest berries which is surprisingly satiating, and your housemate seems to be a wonderful person as well.
As the stars outside color the sky on this cloudless night, you can't say you didn't enjoy your first day as a fairy.
