You plant your finger down on a small number of buildings out behind most of the Shapeshifter buildings. "Weretigers sound good. It's a bit of a run, but at least it's leading us away from where they'll likely be looking for trouble." As you and Rahela head through a short hallway and exit, you hear Joy's voice shouting orders out from where the firefight took place. As soon as you were out the door, you made sure to close the door behind you quietly.
The path was made of a number of large concrete blocks leading in a winding fashion through a number of trees, occasionally passing near the service entrance to the backs of some of the other exhibits. Eventually you find a sign pointing towards a collection of out of the way bungalows. Running up to the first one, you notice that the door is padlocked with a keypad device. No keyhole. "Damn it," you swear.
"Try one-two-three-four-five," Rahela smirked.
"That's not funny," you growl back at her.
Her smile deepened. "A little early for you to be changing, meate," she slurred her word just enough so he heard both "meat" and "mate". That or it was her accent, but he doubted it.
"Is someone out therrrre?" a sultry voice said from inside. "Please tell me it is a prrretty man. I miss prrretty men. Although a prrretty woman would be nice too." After a moment she inquired with an almost dangerously seductive tone, "Orrr is it you, Joy? Are you being naughty. You know you'rrre not supposed to visit me again. Not afterrr what almost happened last time." She started to giggle.
Rahela rolled her eyes. "I see this one being useful. She can rape them as we escape."
"Rrrape?" said the voice inside, in the tone of mock incredulousness. "Never. I make them want me firrrst. In the end, everybody wants me."
"Sorry," you tell her, "We'll be going."
"Oh, it IS a man. The combination is 6-8, 4 and 2 togetherrr, 1-9, and then 8 and 7 togetherrr. It's amazing how open some people can get with their passworrrds. Not that it usually does me much good from this side of the door. Just be sure to prop it open when you enter. I don't know the combination from this side."
"Promise you won't try anything?" you ask as you start pushing the numbers in.
"Of course not," she says. "At least not unless you ask me to." Opening the door you see a small but well-furnished bungalow with a king-sized bed as the central piece of furniture among a large number of ferns. Overall the room is dimly lit. Draping herself across it was one of the most beautiful women you have ever seen. "Hello there, I'm Alexis," the dark-haired woman in a loose black nightie. "What brings you here?"
Looking around at the comforts, you begin to doubt your choice to come here. "We're looking to escape the zoo. I wanted to see if you would help, but...."
"Of course," she purred, "if you will come with me."
Your mouth suddenly gets very dry. "Come?"
"Cut the act, pussy," barked Rahela from the open doorway, her body starting to deform, grow, and turn bestial again. "We don't have time for this. There are men entering the area. I can hear them now." Her teeth and claws started to elongate.
"Of course," Alexis purrred, ignoring Rahela's temper. "Do you think they don't have most of this place watched by camerrras? Especially here. Imagine the shows I give that the securrrity watchmen must drrrool overrr." She turned her head towards one of the ferns and blew a kiss towards it.
