David pushed open the door. The interior was dark but he found a light switch. "It even has working light switches. How is a normal sized person supposed to flip these switches, with tweezers?"
David and Steve both entered the dollhouse. It was amazing. It was like walking into a mansion packed with luxurious goodies, or at least compared to the tiny apartment David and Steve shared. The dollhouse had two stories plus an attic. The first floor had a living room, dining room, kitchen, plus a room that was a combination library and office. There was also a little side room attached to the house. David walked over to the grand piano in the corner and played a few notes.
"Creepy. I would guess the piano is less than five inches tall. Who would be able to play it?"
"I don't know. I'm hoping this shrinking is temporary."
"Well I still need to use the can." Steve headed upstairs looking for a toilet. "Uh David, this place has a real toilet. It doesn't have any water in it but it has a tank that can hold water and all the plumbing that goes with it."
David didn't hear because he had stepped in the kitchen, opened the fridge door and stared at the light that turned on.
After Steve christened the empty toilet bowl, he went to the bedroom to look for clothes. The bedroom had a walk in closet full of clothes and there was quite a variety. The only problem is that there wasn't a single stitch of ~normal~ clothing. There were cowboy accessories and football accessories and ballerina accessories but there wasn't any pants or underwear.
Meanwhile, David walked into the library and looked through the books. He opened several and found they were readable. They were nearly all story books but they contained stories David had never heard of before.
