Chris was not willing to be a gorilla and spend four years peeling Bananas. He'd seen enough, with a jerk of his arm he broke Beth Anne's hold. A quick look told of his fear as she broke
into a smile.
Turning to run the tunnel on Chris said not a word but put on foot in front of another. Faster and faster he walked away from Beth Anne who just stood there with a nasty smile.
As Chris broke into a run he witnessed many scenes she might have pushed him into. After the Jungle scene he saw a Satyr's orgy with one Satyress beckoning him to join. He ran on as a
auction was in the next window, slowing he almost paused but ran on.
The pleasant scene of a barnyard and children playing with their dog beckoned him, and without really thinking about it he stopped to watch the scene before him unfold.
The two kids were playing a game of keep-away with their dog, a large shaggy dog that Chris recognized as being an Old English Sheepdog from the times he had visited the dog shows in town. A large, lumbering bear of a dog all covered in a shaggy layer of white and dark blue merle fur.
The Old English Sheepdog upon seeing Chris woofs happily at the sight of him and leaves his two human friends to greet him. The boys stop their game to see what their dog will do with him.
And just like before with the Gorilla, the dog surprises him by actually talking to him.
"So are you here to play with me? Or do you want to play with my friends here?" The sheepdog asks him
For a minute Chris just stands there before the large shaggy sheepdog and feels indecisive. Chris knew what almost had happened to him back at the Gorilla enclosure. He had almost became a gorilla himself.
"What would happen to me if I decide to walk all the way into this enclosure?" Chris thinks privately to himself. "Would I end up reliving my childhood all over again? Or would I end up joining this dog as his fellow sheepdog?"
