Katie looked to Kelly. In her heart, she knew who this girl really was, even though the changes she herself had made told her differently. She was hoplessly lost, uncertain and afraid. Every part of her screamed at her to want to let go, to just embrace this change, but at the same time she knew she couldn't change it herself.
"All I wanted was to have my ears peirced, and to have a sister, maybe even more," She thought to herself. "Mom was always watching out for me though, and now...now she's still here. She's the only one who might be able to set this right."
She looked to Kelly and took her hands. "Kelly, what I am going to tell you will sound crazy, but its true."
Kelly frowned and the two girls moved to sit down. Katie told her everything she remembered, everything she feared and felt. For her part Kelly listened spellbound, and when Katie was finished she bit her lip.
"All this time, I felt like something was going on, I wasn't sure what it was. But somehow, I believe you." She said with a smile. "What are we going to do?"
Katie shook her head. "I dont know. I dont want to lose you as you are but...I dont want to lose my Mom either, and I can't wish things back now because of my own wishes."
"Then, maybe I can make the wish," Kelly said. "If you can trust me with the ring."
Katie looked to her and then the ring. This thing that had changed so much, and that she had experienced so much with. She felt nervous, but at the same time, she knew Kelly was the only one who could save them.
"I wish Kelly had the ring and its powers..." She whispered feeling it warm. The ring dissapeared from her body and Kelly gasped as it appeared on her finger.
"Okay Kat .....here goes. I wish..."
