Beryl stopped shoving her older brother. He was a nuisance, and she hated when he messed up her clothes, but he was family, and she did love him. The tone of his voice indicated that he really might be in trouble. And Beryl remembered the multiple times he had helped her out of one of her many misadventures.
Beryl sighed. "Okay, but make it quick. I'm already running late for school."
Kyle relaxed a little. "Well, I have a feeling we both might not make it to school today. Mind if I sit down?" said Kyle, pointing to the nearby bed. Beryl folded her hands across her chest and glared at him. "Trust me, this is important. And I really need your help. But it might take a while to explain." Beryl motioned for him to sit down, then pulled out her desk chair and sat across from him.
"Don't waste any more time. Let's hear it. But it better be good. I have something really important I need to do at school today."
Kyle sighed. He knew this was going to be difficult. "Have you ever heard of the Transform or Dare game?"
Beryl scoffed. "You mean that stupid urban legend?"
"Yes, " said Kyle excitedly. "I thought it was just an urban legend, too. Until someone tried it on me. Now my body transforms into the shape of whoever wore the clothes before me."
"Well why would you choose MY pants of all things, " said Beryl angrily.
"Jennifer, the girl who cursed me, threw out all of my pants last night, " said Kyle. "They were the only ones I could find, and I was late for school."
"You can't really expect me to believe that? " said Beryl.
"Well, then how do you explain this, " said Kyle as he started to unzip his pants.
"Gah, put that thing away, I don't want to see your vag, "said Beryl, covering her eyes with her hands. "Besides, you've always had a vagina. I'll admit its really weird, but it's nothing new."
"Oh yeah, " said Kyle. "Jen made it part of the curse that no one would think any change made to me was unusual. Reality must have changed so it seems like I've always been this way."
Beryl chuckled. "Oh Kyle, this just gets more unbelievable by the minute. " Kyle ducked his head sadly, defeated. He had hoped for her help, but now it looked like she wouldn't believe him. He had to admit that his story sounded ridiculous after he said it out loud. "But, you have made a stressful morning pretty interesting. So, I'll bite."
"Does that mean you believe me? " said Kyle with some hope.
"Not yet. But there is a way we can test your story. Why don't you Transform or Dare me?" she said, with a wicked grin.
