"No way, " said Kyle. "It's way too dangerous. I mean, look what happened to me."
"So you say, " said Beryl. "But if you want my help, you need to convince me it is true. Come on, I'm not afraid. I trust you."
Beryl didn't really believe in the Truth or Dare game - or curse or whatever it was. Living in Glendale, everyone had heard of it. It sounded too ridiculous to be true, but she kind of hoped it was. She wasn't the best looking girl at school, and - if the curse actually worked - any improvement might help her be a little more popular and attractive. Maybe bigger breasts, a thinner waist, or a couple of inches in height. Anything would be good, and she had nothing to lose. After all, she trusted her brother. He could be annoying, and a little arrogant, but he was always there to help her when she got into trouble. She knew deep down he was really a good guy.
"Okay, " said Kyle, with some resignation. He knew he had no choice. Jennifer's curse was worded very well. Because of the changes made to reality, unless he used the curse on Beryl, she would never believe that he had changed.
"Just don't do anything too weird to me, " she said quickly, just before Kyle said the fateful words, "Beryl, Transform or Dare?"
