John got off the bus and went to his house. Going straight to his room he fired up the Chronivac and loaded his profile.
He felt sorta stupid for making his girlfriends type the exact opposite of everything he was. Of course this would happen. John thought about it, If Sally did want to break up with him, she might lie until she had another guy lined up. To bimbo's being single means nobody wants you... "Damnit" he cursed, realizing she's probably trying to cozy up with Tom via text.
He flipped over to Sally's profile and set it up so that when speaking with him, she is completely honest about her actions, emotions, and thoughts... and she doesn't speak in valley girl. John thought about her being unable to keep gifts a secret from him and decided he would change her back if this worked.
He set it up to automatically trigger when she is within range of the emitter and went back to his own profile getting some of the basic settings ready, world awareness off, subject awareness on, subject dual history on, user awareness on, user dual history on.
John was planning on getting a clear answer to what Sally wanted and give it to her. This should be fun and he had been itching to change himself, he just didn't know what direction to go with it.
The emitter beeped, a second later there was a knock on the door and Sally entered calling, "Hello?"
John replied he was in his room, Sally appeared a moment later.
"Hey, I have a big surprise for you but I have some questions for you first."
"Alright, Hawaii sounds good for a vacation, what else do you want to know?" Sally asked, giggling. She was still a ditz, just not a valley girl ditz.
"Um.. right, well you mentioned Brad earlier today, what do you like so much about him?"
"Well he's muscular, and strong, He's 19 where I'm three months older than you. He has slept with a few girls but not too many. You can tell if he was running late in the morning and forgot to shave, he gets stubbly after a day not just a shadow like the other boys in school. He's sweet to people but a little bit of a rebel, he drives a motorcycle, smokes. and he has been drunk a few times from what Sarah said. Speaking of parties, he gets invited to them. Rachael said that Jessica couldn't be happier with Brad... Ugh, why am I telling you all this?"
